Great Blog! Having happy feet and children (as you know) it would be great to know how to combine the two. One of my favorite events is Fete de la Musique in Paris on June 21st (summer solstice) where Paris closes the streets to vehicles and opens them up to anyone who wants to perform music in the streets. There are hundreds of performers all over the city from major acts like Peter Gabriel to small folk artists to punk rockers playing polka music. Definitely fun for the parents and could be fun for kids too. Something to check out.

I purchased the 101 Things and the 101 Places books when my son was eight and we lived in Michigan. We had a wonderful time planning and documenting our North American trips in the book. We moved to Singapore when my son was ten and we have continued completing the book from locations in the Asia Pacific region. When my son turns twelve this year, he will have an amazing collection of experiences, many of which were guided by your books. Thank you so much!
